In November 2010, several DL-GNA members met with Gun Dog Magazine writer and photographer Jerry Thoms near Mitchell, South Dakota.  We spent a couple of hours with Jerry talking about the Deutsch Langhaar breed and introducing him to our dogs.

It was very exciting when the November 2011 issue of Gun Dog magazine came out and one of our dogs was featured on the cover.  Jerry did a very nice job of summarizing the breed and we hope that the article will introduce numerous other hunters around the country to Deutsch Langhaars. 

The individual dogs pictured in the magazine are not labeled so we are providing the names of the Deutsch Langhaars in a list below.  We hope you enjoy the article!
